Fire performance
A full-body burn is one of cinema’s most demanding practical effects. Dennis’s imagery captures the performer, fire team, wardrobe protection, camera placement, and timing converging for a few unforgettable seconds.
Height and timing
The Paramount image makes the scale visible before the action even begins. High-fall work turns height, body position, camera perspective, and a precisely prepared landing into one clean screen moment.
Explosive action
Explosive action lives at the intersection of the effects cue, body position, landing zone, lens choice, and playback speed. The frame may feel chaotic; the performance underneath it is exact.
In-camera spectacle
Before digital doubles, the impact had to happen in front of the lens. Falls, vehicle launches, fire, and carefully choreographed impacts gave audiences physical scale they could feel immediately.
